The students will learn and perform this cute song, as well as pick out their own costumes from our huge stock, and make all the set pieces and props. The students will learn how to put on a musical from start to finish -- both onstage and behind-the-scenes! About the musical:

"Magic is everywhere in the marvelous land of Oz! There’s the moon magic, that brings jack-o-lanterns to spooky life. There’s the magic of Mombi, the last wicked witch in Oz, who wants to win the world’s witch pageant. And there’s the magic of Glinda the Good, who wants to find Princess Ozma, the rightful ruler, and restore her to the throne.

Of course there are the kids who have to face down all this magic, like Tip, the mistreated boy who longs to escape from Mombi’s evil clutches, and Jinjur, the leader of the trick-or-treaters who get more than candy when they dare to visit a witch’s house. Throw in a few nervous munchkins and the ever-cheerful Jack Pumpkinhead, and you have a holiday treat for the whole family!"

Collaborate with your fellow classmates to write an original Halloween musical featuring all your favorite Halloween songs. Every student will get the chance to create their own characters that they will bring to life in the showcase. The students will also get to pick costumes from our large stock, and make all the set pieces and props needed to bring the show to life. This will be a unique experience for these middle schoolers.
